About the event
Join us this Sunday at 8 PM for a virtual COME, C-O-M-E, where we will delve into the topic of FORGETTING FAKE. This conversation is for anyone struggling with feelings of unworthiness, imposter syndrome, or feeling unqualified for their roles, whether becoming a wife, in their kingdom assignment, or in any other capacity.
At the start of our event, let’s explore some common reasons why many of us might feel like imposters, unworthy, or unqualified. Sometimes, we feel unqualified for the next level because of seasons when we were low, in a pit, or struggling. Perhaps our current circumstances haven’t caught up with the progress we’ve made in the spirit, causing us to let past seasons define us.
• Past Failures: We might dwell on past mistakes or failures, believing they disqualify us from moving forward or stepping into new roles.
• Comparisons: Comparing ourselves to others who seem more accomplished or put-together can make us feel inadequate or like we don’t measure up.
• Financial Struggles: Financial instability can make us feel unworthy to teach others or take bold steps of faith, as we might believe success should look a certain way.
• Self-Doubt: Internal doubts and fears about our abilities can paralyze us, making us feel like frauds in our callings.
• Appearance: Feeling like we don’t look the part or match society’s expectations of success can hinder us from stepping out confidently.
• Negative Feedback: Criticism or negative feedback from others can linger, causing us to question our worth and capabilities.
During this session, we will explore how to forget the fake by understanding our true worth and learning to walk in our graces. Engage in authentic conversations with others who are genuinely walking, pursuing, and seeking God. We will share our own moments of doubt and unworthiness to ensure that those who have struggled, are struggling, or will struggle know they are not alone.
Key Points:
• Address feelings of unworthiness and imposter syndrome.
• Learn how to walk authentically in your graces.
• Engage in genuine conversations with others on a similar journey.
• Share and hear real stories of overcoming doubts and hindrances.
